  • Modular design.
  • Robust enclosure with high IP rating.
  • Exhaust with rupture disk used to output toxic gasses directly overboard during a thermal
    runaway of a battery cell. This avoid those gases being trapped within the battery
    compartment and complex systems to limit the involved risks.
  • Liquid cooling/heating (thermal management) to maintain temperature of all battery cells
    the same, providing maximum performance, safety and cycle life.
  • Redundant Battery Management System (BMS) to guarantee maximum safety and stable
    operation.
  • All safety features are state-of-the-art according to the latest Lloyds/DNV-GL register draft
    rules. Type approval in progress.
  • Unique cell-to-cell and module-to-module propagation protection during a failure.
  • Each string of batteries has its own Master BMS for protection, control and logging.
  • Redundant string control. System will run when one or multiple strings fails.
  • Selectable battery mode for standard or performance. In standard mode the batteries will
    be charge to 80% and in performance mode it will be charge to 90%. This gives the
    possibility to extend cycle life when in standard mode and have high energy available in
    performance mode.
  • CAN-Bus interface to Power Management System (PMS).
