For years, the luxury maritime sector viewed 100% electric propulsion with a hint of “range anxiety.” To achieve a range of up to 160 km without the weight of traditional lead-acid batteries, every component had to be optimized.
“We try to optimize the whole boat in terms of efficiency, design, weight, best technology, lightest batteries, lightest engines… all to serve efficiency“, says Jaap de Jonge.

Voltage, temperature, State of Health… if something happens in one cell, I know it directly. That gives our customers the certainty they expect from a premium yacht.“
