Practical Design

The LFP IP battery is designed with an eye for practicality. It features clever design elements that streamlines installation and handling.
This includes brackets, which enable easy surface mounting, saving time and design efforts. Besides that, convenient handles on top of the battery provide a secure grip for lifting and maneuvering, making it easier to position and transport the battery, even in tight spaces.
Functional Safety | SIL-2 Certification

When the LFP IP is combined with the MG Master HV the system is certified with SIL-2 under ISO 13849-1, ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards. This certification verifies reliable risk mitigation, fault tolerance, and system integrity in critical applications. Validated through independent testing, it guarantees reduced hazards and seamless integration into safety-critical systems globally. More products will soon receive this certification, reinforcing MG’s commitment to functional safety.
Exhaust System

The LFP IP battery features a sophisticated integrated exhaust system designed to prioritize safety. In the unlikely event of a thermal runaway, the exhaust opens under pressure, providing a secure release mechanism. Additionally, the exhaust incorporates a venting mechanism, allowing the battery to ‘breathe’ and maintain a stable internal environment. This prevents any condensation inside and ensures optimal operating conditions.

An IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and water ingress. For marine, industrial, and off-grid users, this is more than a feature, it’s peace of mind.
The MG Energy Systems LFP 24V IP Battery goes beyond standard IP-protection:
- The ABS housing, SLP front connectors, and M12 CAN-Bus connections are all sealed.
- An integrated exhaust system increases safety by releasing pressure in extreme cases.
- The same system allows the battery to “breathe,” preventing internal condensation and keeping performance stable over time.
True IP65 rated
This makes the 24V LiFePO4 IP65 battery especially valuable as a marine LiFePO4 battery 24V, where exposure to harsh conditions is common.
Safety and Reliability First
The LFP 24V IP Battery delivers certified safety and operational reliability for demanding applications. Engineered as a 24V LiFePO4 IP65-rated battery solution, it sets the industry standard for:
- Protection: Full IP65 ingress protection against dust and water.
- Durability: Industrial-grade construction for extreme environments.
- Long-term performance: 3500+ cycle life with ≤80% depth of discharge.
Validated to IEC 62619 safety standards, this battery ensures zero thermal runaway risk and seamless integration into critical energy systems. No compromises. No exceptions.
