After years of planning, designing, and testing, Lisette and Marco finally realized their dream: an expedition truck. Built to endure harsh terrains and climates.More than just a vehicle; this truck is their mobile base camp for exploring the world, enjoying outdoor sports, and pursuing new adventures.
Creating the perfect truck wasn’t easy. The couple knew that their truck needed to be able to handle every type of climate, vegetation, and terrain. It had to be able to support long trips while carrying everything they needed for comfort and safety, all while being environmentally responsible.

Lisette Verzijl and Marco Meijerink are an adventurous duo with a passion for the outdoors. For them, life without the exhilaration of mountain climbs, long bike rides, or the quiet beauty of nature simply wouldn’t be complete. They have cycled, hiked, climbed, canoed, and traveled to more than 94 countries.
Their passion for discovery drives them to share their experiences through media,newspapers, magazines, radio, television and lectures worldwide.
Over the years, they’ve sought a way to take their outdoor adventures to the next level. Instead of relying on traditional means of transportation they’ve opted for a sustainable way to travel
Designing for Sustainability and Functionality
The road to designing their perfect expedition truck wasn’t without its hurdles. With a focus on energy efficiency, Lisette and Marco chose to power their truck entirely with electricity.
They also decided to go with a 24-volt system, a design decision that streamlined their setup, though not without challenges, such as needing a 220-volt hob.
Despite the hurdles, their setup eventually took shape. They installed the deepest cable ducts possible to organize and safely manage the electrical components. The goal was to ensure everything was well connected and easily accessible, no loose cables and no unexpected surprises.
The Power of the MG Master LV
For those who’ve ever installed electrical systems in a camper, they know that the complexity of wiring, fuses, and protection systems can be overwhelming. But when Lisette and Marco discovered the MG Master LV, everything changed. This device became the heart of their electrical system, bringing order to the otherwise intricate web of components.
The MG Master LV allowed them to connect all their third party devices into one seamless system, simplifying the setup and giving them a central point to monitor and control all their electrical needs. As Lisette and Marco described, “it was a game-changer, a true piece of innovation and reliability.”
